Bike tools – the best way to start the cycling season

• Tire levers to make changing tires and tubes easier, along with a puncture repair kit.
• Allen key set (2 to 8 mm) and screwdriver.
• Bike multitools, especially for when you're on the go and need to be prepared for an emergency.
• Open-end wrenches in different sizes
• Torx keys, for example to adjust or loosen handlebars
• Chain tool, to open and join the bicycle chain if there is no chain lock.
• Long-nosed pliers, a lock hammer and a rubber hammer

You should also think about a bicycle pump tool to ensure that your tires are always inflated to the optimum pressure. A chain whip and a cassette remover are also useful for cleaning and lubricating your bike's chain or changing the cassette. Make sure you use high-quality bicycle tools so that you can enjoy them for a long time and perform precise work. With the right bicycle tools, you are well equipped to carry out small repairs independently and keep your bike in top condition.

How to secure your bike during repairs

It is particularly important to secure your bike during a repair. Nobody wants their bike to fall over and suffer scratches or major damage. We therefore recommend that you use a floor-mounted bike stand or a repair stand. A bike stand has the advantage that you can simply push your front wheel into the stand and it is immediately protected from falling over. The bike stand or floor stand does not need to be additionally attached to the wall.

Alternatively, you can use a repair stand. This is attached to the wall and ensures that your bike is raised to a comfortable height. So you can easily change your bike's tire here, for example. In addition, your bike is at a comfortable working height. So, equip yourself with the appropriate bike tools and enjoy relaxed and safe rides with your beloved bike.
